Love this place so much! The food is just delicious. I usually get a more typical bbq pork Banh mi but friends and family usually try other menu sandwiches and are just as pleased as me. Fresh and pickled veg, delicious meats, peppers. Don't forget the fresh and crumbly baguette! Then to finish the meal you've gotta try their fun and delicious pandan waffles (SE Asian vanilla) or the Ube purple waffle with powdered sugar. Perfectly caramelized hot fresh and so tasty. Highly recommend this place. They even have boba teas! :D

I love this lil spot! I usually get the spicy thai (I think that's what it's called) and unlike most other places it's actually got some kick! I also really love the smoothies either the boba at the bottom. This was the first place I tried boba and I don't think I would've wanted it to be any other place! I've personally never eaten it in the restaurant but they have plenty of seating of options for people that do! It's a very cozy, homey spot for locals to enjoy and everyone should go at least once!

Quite possibly my favorite local fast food place. This spot is an excellent gem of Asian fusion that helps people of all backgrounds taking an introductory dive into Lincoln's rich Vietnamese culture. I absolutely love their chicken teriyaki sandwich, but don't get it with jalapeño if you are not a spicy food person like I am. Even the way they pickle their veggies is perfect! I'd also get a milk tea & green waffle if you have a sweet tooth. Definitely the place to take someone if they have a foodie hobby.

We decided to stop by Banhwich Cafe for a quick sandwich lunch during a day exploring Lincoln. Cold Cut Combo and Pâté ($7.76) - Firstly, the baguette has a nice crispy flaky skin exterior and soft and chewy interior. Unlike some other places, the baguette isn't baked until hard. While some of the skin flakes off as you eat, it doesn't easily crumble into millions of pieces. On the interior, Banhwich cafe adds quite a bit of meat. Pickled veggies, including carrot and daikon, add crunch and tangy vinegar notes to the sandwich. There's additional cucumber, deseeded jalapeno ribs, which is fresh and not too spicy, and cilantro to add more herbal notes. A rich pate is spread on the bread to prevent the veggies and meat from getting the bread soggy. It also adds a great savory, salty umami to the sandwich. (4/5) Pork Belly ($8.90) - The only difference here is the meat included and the fact the sandwich is served warm instead of lukewarm. The pork belly is warm and fatty, with a taste that's a little sweet, a little savory, quite a bit tangy, with a definite soy flavor. I found it to be a bit too saucy, with the sauce soaking into the bread and making it a bit soggy. The meat and veggies are both quite sour and the two added together made it just a bit too tangy for me. However, the pork belly is tender and juicy with the cubes just the right size to have in a big mouthful (3/5) Of note, there are a few awards regarding their curry in a curry competition. They offer a masaman curry banh mi on the menu and I regret not seeing it until after I ordered. That's certainly a reason to come back in the future! Bathrooms - Single unisex room in the kitchen

Excellent Banh Mi sandwiches in Lincoln! Cute little place that also offers Bubble tea! Dine in or outside on their patio area! They offer over 15 different options of Banh Mi! Personally, I always get the Lemongrass grilled pork or the Korean Bulgogi Beef and they are always full of meat, fresh pickled veg on a perfectly fresh French Baguette! Service is amazingly efficient and it's never taken me more than 8 minutes to get my sandwich!! When in Lincoln, don't walk run to Banhwich Cafe!

The food is made quickly and it's delicious and it's inexpensive! The jalapeño pepper is always a liiiiittle much for me, so I usually discard those but otherwise I like the sandwiches here. Usually my husband and I get the vegetarian or the curry (made vegetarian). The smoothies and teas are good. My kids LOVE the waffles, green and purple. A family we know likes to order each of their kids a half waffle and a fried egg. Service is decent. The atmosphere is . . . meh. I prefer eating outside when the weather is decent.

Quiet atmosphere, nice greeting at the door and they were very helpful. The food was delicious and hot. Will add more soon. Just need to dig in.

FOOD - Spicy Thai Chicken: shredded chicken with Thai sauce and veggies. 4/5 - Korean Bulgogi: rib eye sautéed with onions in bulgogi sauce. 4/5 - Vietnamese Waffle: pandan and coconut. Savory. Good without the powered sugar. 4/5 SERVICE: Fast and friendly. 4/5 FINAL THOUGHTS: I would come back and try other items. There's so many options. I like how they have not your typical banh mis.

A pretty good selection on their Banhwiches menu. The Spicy Thai Chicken was just a little too spicy for me ... I won't be getting that next time. But their other ones like the Grilled Pork are really good. Their ube and pandan waffles were also a great option if craving for something different and sweet. Would definitely go back here again and try something different.
